START STRONG Assessment Schedule for Students in Grades 4 Through 8

Students in Grades 4-8 will be participating in the START STRONG Assessment during the week of October 12^th.  

START STRONG is a state assessment that measures student progress on content from the previous grade level/course.  It is intended to provide teachers with information that they can use to plan instruction to meet students’ needs.  The assessment takes approximately one hour per content area, for students to complete. 

Students in Grades 4 through 8, who would normally take the New Jersey Student Learning assessment (NJSLA) will participate in the START STRONG statewide assessment on the schedule provided below.
