We have become aware of a generic social media threat predicting school violence across the country for tomorrow, Friday, December 17th. Please know that no specific threat has been made toward any of the Howell Township Public Schools. I have communicated directly with Chief Kudrick, who has confirmed that there is no credible threat or specific information regarding our school community. However, thanks to the support of Chief Kudrick and the men and women of the Howell Township Police Department, you may notice a higher police presence at all of our schools tomorrow. Please trust that we take all threats, whether specific or not, very seriously, as the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority.
